Mini-Cam Technology Joins OP Programs
At Miles LeHane Companies we are always listening to our current and potential clients as to how we may be more responsive to your needs. Over the almost 17 years that Melanie and David have operated the company, our service offerings have been expanded and modified to best fit the needs of our clients and participants as we have taken advantage of new technology availability. With the recent global turmoil in the financial markets and business communities we serve, we are constantly looking for the "next option" in service offerings. We are now ready to move forward with an enhancement to the multiple service options we currently provide.
DIFFERENT TIMES DEMANDS DIFFERENT METHODS
Approximately 15 years ago we offered our executive program participants a complimentary fax machine to enhance their career transition program. This was a big innovative step for many, but today this is archaic. Most people at all levels not only have their own personal computer, but also have a high speed connection to the internet, and high-end printers with fax capabilities. Even at the historic Glenfiddich House we have utilized T-1 and voice over internet protocol (VOIP) technology for almost 6 years. With the proliferation of availability of high speed technology, we are launching a new optional addendum for our services. Let me explain: Eye-Face is here!
FLEXIBILITY AND MEETING NEEDS
Not all participants impacted by career transition are able to participate in a one-on-one, face-to-face consulting arrangement. While we still believe this is the most desirable way to help each person, there are many factors that may make this approach not a viable method for transition support. For years our only option has been to offer traditional remote services with the use of email, traditional print materials, phone support and internet support, but that personal "eye-to-eye" and "face-to-face" contact has been missing ─ the vital final link to handling a complex learning curve for many of our participants in transition.
DIFFERENT TOOLS / DIFFERENT APPLICATIONS
With the proliferation of cost-effective technology we are now ready to launch our personal, one-on-one, live internet video and voice service options. We will provide each person, who is approved and qualifies for this program, with software (Skypes) and a video camera/microphone and optional headset to work with one of our consultants. In addition, we will provide the technical support to assist each person in getting on line and installing these items so they can work with this new optional approach. In essence it will be an "on demand live interactive voice and video" between the participant and the consultant. This will add the missing link of face-to-face to enhance the learning curve.
MANAGING RESOURCES FOR MAXIMUM VALUE
This new tool is not meant to replace traditional services but add a new dimension to the suite of Service Offerings. For example, combined with our "OI Solutions" online tools, this will allow us to provide an additional level of support. The video service can be utilized to move remote services to a higher level of support. Simply put, it allows Miles LeHane to be more responsive to Organizational and Individual needs. This cost effective approach allows savings in participant and consultant transportation costs and time, and maximizes resources to providing assistance to adversely affected individuals.
MEETING LEARNING NEEDS
The biggest advantage that we see for the participant is the ability to respond to individual learning needs. Combined, when feasible, with our traditional services, we can help each participant meet their individual goals more rapidly and effectively. Most importantly we can respond to their needs and specific learning style. Depending on your organization’s needs, we can design this advanced service delivery system as a free standing program or as an integral part of our traditional levels of services. Combined with other available resources we can offer price value and cost effective support options in this turbulent economic environment.
